Up-cycled Glass Co-operative
A new adventure!!
In November 2025 I was handed over the keys and management of Ian Hankey's Up-Cycled Glass Company based on Brimpts Farm in the picturesque setting of Dartmeet, on Dartmoor. Ian has a wonderful mind and has achieved some amazing things in his time at Brimpt's.

I'm honoured to be entrusted with the next stage of this project

I have some exciting plans for this wonderful project. With support of Make Southwest we are Creating the Up-cycled Craft Co-operative, embodying the concept of a circular economy. Using local industrial waste to produce craft products that will be delivered to locally based Galleries and retailers.​
​
On top of this I want UGC to be a creative hub that’s open to everyone, Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned pro, the goal is to get people back in touch with making.

When the studio is ready, I will be launching a range of beginner courses and "experience days" perfect for anyone who has ever watched a glassblower and thought, “I want to try that.”
​
At the centre of this project is a brand-new Cooperative. The dream is to make this a self-sustaining sanctuary for glass, My plan is that The income from our workshops and product sales goes right back into the pot to keep the lights on and the glass melting for our members.
