I'm back in full work mode after a bit of a slow down summer!!

I've been in the Glass studio the last few weeks working hard on getting some larger orders out and working on the rest of my order book. i hope that I can spend October building up some stock to get out to my wonderful galleries!

Thank you so much for the great response from my episode of Make It At Market being on repeat on BBC1. I had so many kind messages and I'm so thankful to everyone who sent me order requests. I'm always happy to take orders when it's not in stock on the website, I take a 50% at the time of ordering and then invoice for the remainder (including shipping) when your order is ready to post out.

July

The last few months have gone by so quickly. I've been working hard completing orders and taking part in the amazing Crafts Festival Bovey Tracey. I'm still feeling like such a lucky little glass maker.

I've just heard that Make It At Market is due to be Aired again on the BBC for two weeks from the 31st July 2023. I've been advised my episode will air on the 7th August, BBC1 3.45pm but keep an eye on the TV guide. Meanwhile you could catch up on BBC Iplayer and Britbox where all episodes are available.  You'll find me on  Episode 6!

March

The Stourbridge Glass Museum's Make It At Market Glass makers event in February was fantastic. I really enjoyed spending time with My Mentor Allister Malcolm and demonstrating my glass blowing in his studio. My fellow makers and I really enjoyed meeting people and talking about our experiences on the show and what has happened since. I'm pleased to tell you that The Stourbridge Glass Museum have taken two of my Del Mar Pieces for their permanent collection, to be displayed in the innovation section.

I've been working on some lovely little 'Daisies for Daisy' test pieces. I'm working towards a product to raise funds for The Lily Foundation who do amazing work including supporting families affected by Mitochondrial Disease, it is a charity that is close to my heart. All profits from these pieces will be donated to The Lily foundation. So watch out in my shop for when these are ready for you to buy in late 2023!
